Ad Alta tutors are exceptional teachers and subject matter experts. We carefully select tutors in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia through an intensive interview and screening process. We look for qualities that demonstrate exceptional teaching skills, such as subject matter expertise, the ability to develop and teach individualized learning plans, significant prior teaching experience, successful completion of a background check, and the ability to relate to students and make lessons enjoyable.
