Christian
Christian earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Michigan State University with a minor in English. She also has a Master’s degree from Strayer University in Education Management. She has been an educator for the last nine years. Since graduating in 2007, she has worked with students from grades K- 8th in all academic areas.
Christian currently works full time as a special education teacher in Arlington Public Schools in Virginia. She enjoys working with students of all ages and from different backgrounds. Her passion is helping students build confidence in all academic areas and helping them thrive to reach their highest potential.
Christian tutors in reading/English (phonemic awareness, comprehension, fluency, etc.), writing, organizational skills and study habits. She also helps younger students K-5 with general subjects such as math, science, social studies, etc.
In her free time Christian enjoys reading, traveling and mentoring local youth. She truly believes “Children are our world’s most valuable resource (John F. Kennedy).” Therefore, she tries to equip all students with the tools needed to be successful.
